SMART Talks: How to use data to solve environmental problems?

Presentation of the session: Data can guide people in solving environmental problems and be the basis for China to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. In this talk, Ma Jun will discuss the role of environmental data in assessing, monitoring and providing solutions to environmental pollution. It turns out that the involvement of environmental data and green finance has helped more than 15,000 companies improve their business performance.

my june is the director of the Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs (IPE). He founded IPE in 2006. He also developed the first public environmental database in China to promote the establishment of green supply chains and green finance. Ma was nominated as one of the Time 100 by Times in 2006 and one of the 50 Greatest World Leaders by Fortune in 2018.
